IVF STEPS

FIRST VISIT

Understanding IVF is the first priority. Proper medical history is taken on the day trying to understand the root cause of infertility.  Recommendation of the required tests to diagnose .

BLOOD TEST AND SCREENING

Tests such as Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), estradiol (estrogens) and anti-mullerian hormone are done. Infectious disease screening of both the partners are being done.

FOLLOW UP VISIT

On the basis of the report and screening, the type of IVF treatment is discussed by our fertility specialist and proper medication and injection are being prescribed.

OVULATION INDUCTION

Inorder to develop multiple eggs at a time your ovaries are stimulated with hormonal injections

TRACKING

Regular vaginal ultrasound and blood tests are performed during this period to track the development of follicles

TIME OF TRIGGER

Injection for the maturation of your eggs, once the follicle sizes are optimum

OVUM PICK UP

With assistance of sedation, egg retrieval is being done. The process is done by a thin needle with ultrasound probe injected through vagina to identify follicles.

FERTILIZATION AND EMBRYO DEVELOPMENT

With the process of conventional IVF or ICSI, egg and sperm are assisted to fertilize. Embryos are kept inside the incubator and the development progress is continuously tracked by the embryologist.

EMBRYO TRANSFER

After 3-5 days embryo transfer is done and best embryos are transferred with the help of a catheter.

RESULTS

About 10-15 days after embryo transfer, your fertility specialist conducts a blood test for the detection of your pregnancy.
